About Nigel Verrill

I created Charlie Breeze, the main character in my Teen/Young Adult novel "Out of Sync" about 5 years ago and have tinkered with the novel very little up until the summer of 2012. The book is now ready to share with the world.

Oh, by the way, that picture is of me when I was about 15. I'm 47 now but it just amuses me so much (and makes me so proud) as to how much my 16 year old son looks like me way back then. A little self indulgence never hurt anyone.

A gripping read right from the start, one of those books that once you start reading you just can't put down! I really felt I got to know Charlie in the book and went on his journey with him. This book has a bit of everything, drama, fantasy, romance and of course a twist! I recommend this book highly, read it and like me you will be hoping a sequel comes along soon!

Absolutely fantastic book. From the beginning to the end I was encapsulated by the journey through the formative years of Charlie Breeze, as he struggles to deal with the life changing circumstances which he has been dealt. His school years are light hearted, with humour as Charlie develops life-long relationships which weave throughout the story. The ending of the story combines darkness and light in a thrilling and unexpected twist.

Would recommend this book to anybody! Bring on part 2!!
