Loddy Da, a gray schanauzer, and her friend Hope, a beautiful butterfly, are playing in the park when they meet a girl named Milly, who suffers from cystic fibrosis. As Milly explains what cystic fibrosis is, Loddy decides to ask her friend Lindy, a magic gopher, for a wish. Loddy uses that wish to help Milly expand her world and make some of her dreams come true.

About Jane Gilbert

Jane Gilbert has written both for business and for fun. Part of her work involved community development, grant writing and creating comprehensive plans for communities. Over the years she earned several awards and has been recognized by government agencies and colleges for various genres of writings. She has published children’s books, poetry, a family cookbook entitled "This Taste Bud's For You," short stories, and two books composed of diverse writing genres: "I Need Music When I Write" and "Slow Dance on the Sand."

She is at work on a memoir of her “soul vacation” which took place primarily in California, where Jane learned intriguing lessons defining what is truly essential in life. The last chapter of this book will leave you whirling. The book is expected to be released for publication in the fall of 2015.

Jane currently is compiling facts and experiences to write about her mother's wisdom and fortitude. Gleva M. Jacobson, who passed away at the age of 90 on February 18, 2015, was an entrepreneur.

The author's books are donated to nonprofits to help make a difference in the world. She has written and donated over 1,200 copies of eBooks and an estimated 2,000 copies of paperbacks on a variety of topics for both children and adults (as of July 2015).

This story presents fact about cystic fibrosis, along with a nice tale of friendship and doing good for others. Good story!
