I liked the story of "Shadow of Blood moon" minus the romance part I still couldn't like the love triangle.Gen is flawed but in some ways that make the book distinct she is brave but doesn't know her limits or the consequence of her actions ,quick tempered and not the smartest of the group but manages to patch tings up and leads the team in their quest to save her mother.
There are some serious twists and a special new character that was unexpected,Over all the story is quite entertaining.
The story follows Gen as she and William come the Prague to find her mother. the quest descends into chaos the very day they set foot in Prague. She tries to find her mother and survive Prague with help of the usual gang and a hand-full of new characters.
I wish to read the next book for the story of the princess and clan wars rather than the love triangle

shadow of the blood moon, I read this book a couple weeks ago, and couldn't sit down quiet enough to write a review, but finally I got my quiet time, yay me!! Well I LOVE book 1 in this series and started read one right away. I love the story, I love how there is so many things and twist enemies that let you thinking, "I didn't see that coming" and there is a lot of oooohhhs and ahhhs moments. I like how the team come together to fight their no matter what personal issues they have. Here the love triangle still in full roll but with new twists, me, personally like Joseph better then William, still can't trust him ;) but that just me. The only problem I have with this book it is how annoying Gen get, jezz it is a lot of whining and whining for some of her actions and the BAMN! she does it again and the whining started ALL OVER AGAIN!! But beside that it is a great read, can't wait for the next one. Hopefully some of the characters(main character) mature a little. I totally recommend this series, and please read boom 1 before dive into "Shadow of the blood moon" so you can get the full effect.

I received this book as a R2R from the Lovers of Paranormal Group on GoodReads.com .
Overall: OMG ; I still can't get over how this book ended. I felt like i was given all the answers and BAM book 2 done. This book was just AMAZING and I'm still unsure how to describe it. lol The action was incredible and heart stopping at times. Ms. Waldrop's writing made me feel like i was right in the middle of the action, fighting with them trying to save the world from one VERY crazy man. My only con was the romance part of the book. I felt like everyone more or less just kept making googly eyes at each other for most of the book. No one really came out and said their true feelings. Well expect for the very last chapter, but that's for the next book. This book was a very fun and exciting read.
Page Turner: I couldn't put the book down.
Series Cont: Yes and I CANNOT WAIT TO READ IT!!
Side Note: I enjoyed this book so much more than the first and i'm really glad that the author listened to her own ideas and not someone else. =)

After finishing the first book in this series I immediately dove into this one. While the first book was interesting and suspenseful, this book took that to a whole new level. With each new twist and turn, the desire to find out how the story would play out grew. I look forward to continuing to uncover and learn of their journey. If you like suspenseful paranormal adventures, this is your ticket.

I received this book with the condition that I review. This book quickly follows the first book. These two books re good and are very similar to the Twilight series.

Gen along with William set off to Prague to find her kidnapped mother. William soon starts doubting Gen and tensions fly and loyalties are questioned.
This book picks up immediately after book one, so you will quickly become confused if you haven't read the first book. The love triangle gets hectic. Gen goes back and forth between William and Joseph. It was like a seesaw. New characters are introduced. I was still frustrated by Gen and her behaviors/actions. There was a lot of new things happening. I enjoyed the action and once again how unpredictable it was. And of course, Mrs. Waldrop leaves us with yet another cliffhanger. This series isn't my thing but if you enjoy fantasy/paranormal/romance then give it a try.
* This book was given to me by the author in exchange for my honest review.*

I began reading this book almost immediately after finishing the first (which I loved) and once again I could not put this book down.
Robin is an excellent story teller and although usually I can sort of tell how a story is going to pan out in this instance I could not predict the many twists and turns this story would take.
There are many unexpected events (I will not spoil it for you by telling you them) and I really recommend that if you are a lover of Paranormal Romance and all stories relating to vampires and werewolves then this is the book for you.
Gen (the main character in this book), is so torn between William and Joseph and you really feel her frustration at having to choose between them, and despite having an emotional connection to them both tries to remain a strong leader and choose wisely but inevitably she tends to choose with her heart which has unfortunate consequences for her Adlet Warrior family.
All in all I will be seeking out book three in order to find out what happens next in this fascinating and enthralling series.

Book Review of Shadow of the Blood Moon
Book Blurb: “As an Adlet wolf, I had a decent body. After I convinced William to turn me, I woke up to one of the most perfectly shaped bodies I had ever seen-lean, cut, curves in all the right places. Another perk.” P 81
In the first book Gen is turned into a hybrid, a mixture of a wolf and a vampire. The second book in the series furthers her story along. Here we find the four friends going to Prague to go after Genevieve’ s mother long thought to be dead. Zane an Adlet wolf, appears to be the one who kills her mother though before she can get to her. But her problem is Laszlo, the vampire. He finds her ring fascinating and when he has her take it off to give it to him, it weakens Gen. It will increase his power and hold over the race. But she manages to survive thanks to the help of William and her friends. While in Prague they pick up the twin that Gen is told that she has as most Adlet wolves are born in pairs or twins. Her twin, Guinevere, has been living there her whole life. She agrees to flee with the group and get to know her sister. As the group tries to keep ahead of the ones hunting them, they are beset by trouble. The trouble kills one of the group James and no one can save him. One set of twins is down a member. But the other twins remain intact.
As their journey continues the two sisters who had just found each other explore their different stories. Learning what they could about each other’s life. They are on the run taking a train but get followed. So William elects to stay behind to keep them out of their hair. Little did the group know the trouble that William would get in. Peter the hotel concierge where she stayed at when she left William is actually working with Laszlo and happens to know Williams mother, Dahlia. This makes Gen very angry, because Laszlo has plans for her and her ring. He plans to take her away to his summer home to get it together. You have to stay tuned for Book 3 to find out what happens.
I give these book 5 stars. Book One Ties to the Blood Moon starts the story going giving it enough momentum to get you interested. Book Two Shadow of the Blood Moon continues the tradition keeping your appetite wetted. The characters are built into the story as if they are woven in. She ties into also the use of twins to maintain power in the wolf family and how they interact with each other. Remember they originally started this out to find out where Laszlo was to protect their way of life. Now they are on a journey to save a person who has become part of their family.
I recommend that you read both books and purchase book three as well.
Please be advised that I did get the book via a gift certificate from the author that was Book Two. I am not receiving any other compensation for this book review.
