About Ernest Winchester

I began spinning yarns at a young age, regaling my audience (my long suffering mother) each afternoon with tall tales of the second grade happenings of the day.
Years later, the duties of raising a family of five children curtailed my writing cravings until retirement allowed time to indulge my fertile imagination. I can now claim the dubious title of author without fearing being struck by lightning for lying. Over a dozen novels—only four published so far—and close to two dozen short stories total my output since I starting drawing SS checks. Retirement is grand.

After reading it I have to agree with Judith, the ending was as tasteless as some of Ernest's front covers... and that says a lot. Maybe it's time to ditch that disgusting rubber on the apple eh?

What is with that ending? It made me laugh, but I'm not sure if I was supposed to. It seems like it could have been better, but the author tried to throw us off with that sudden and unlikely conclusion. Also quite a few typos that need to be fixed!

Oh, and if you don't like what you call retaliation reviews, maybe you should think twice before you blast someone else's story, especially in a genre you admit to not liking! That is YOUR problem, not theirs.

I have to agree with the other reviewers. If you don't know anything about the BDSM lifestyle, you shouldn't write about it, fiction or not. The way the Dom is written is a joke. He's not Dominant; he's just a masochist. Yes, there's a difference.

Sad because this story had a lot of potential to be great.

Erotica written by people who have never experienced what they are trying to write about is always poor. This is yet another example of that. Don't bother.

This guy does not know BDSM from cybersex, poorly written and just made me go to sleep.

I'm really confused by this story. I felt so sorry for the sub most of the way through it because the Dom acted like a total ass...constantly talking over her, being dismissive about anything she said that he didn't like, etc. It especially bothered me that he didn't like seeing her smile or hearing her giggle. She seemed like a young, vibrant, inexperienced sub ripe for the picking, while he seemed like an old, stagnant, arrogant man who didn't care to put forth the effort to learn who she really was and how to help her reach her potential.
The last scene in the hotel room left me with questions, and maybe it was meant to. There's no way to know why the sub acted the way she did, but I can think of a few reasons. All of those reasons point to a huge lapse of communication between Dom and sub up to that point.

Another BDSM story with the Dom so full of his own self importance he forgot to gain the subs trust before diving in at the deep end ... seems a little trite!

The book was very well written, the characters believable and the plot imaginitve and easy to follow. However, I feel that there could have been a bit more to the story, which is why I'm giving it four stars. Good work and best of luck with your next work.
