Rika and Jason have finally come to terms with their feelings, but, unfortunately, a relationship isn’t quite so simple. Levi Pierce’s investigation isn’t helping any either. He comes to understand that there’s a much larger scheme hiding beneath the debris and makes protecting Rika his top priority, a development none had expected. Yet, even with the extra security, it may not be enough. More

I am really really hoping that the next book comes out soon. I was practically screaming when I scrolled to the end.

I enjoyed watching Rika and Jason's relationship develop naturally. Too often I feel that romance writers jump too quickly to the part where the characters can't keep their hands off each other. That being said, I will admit that there were places where I felt descriptions of characters' emotional states were too long, or where the same territory was rehashed one too many times.

I am shamelessly hoping for a reunion for Rika and Jason within the next book. Levi is great and all but Rika and Jason have been through way too much not to have a happy ending.

Very good read. The introduction of the new plot development was interesting and the end last part of the book was great....made you want to keep turning that page to see what was going to happen! As with the first couple of books, some of the descriptions were too long (like when the cat made a mess at Levi's)and I again found myself skipping here and there but I really wanted to see what happened! I was a little disappointed in how Riki and Eric finally came together. The books are fairly long and I thought they were building up to what would be an amazing relationship finally bloom but it just seems a little off....a little disappointing, a little immature. I do want to read the next book though to see what happens!

I loved it When I first read first chapter-yeah, I mean fanfiction one.
And this...I love it more! This delicate is really awesome. And also the atmosphere between Eris and Mamorus is sooooo thrilling. Yeah, and Levi. I didn't like this guy before, but I can't hate him anymore after I read this whole story even if he's (soon-to-be or maybe)Jason's rival. Jason's such a nice guy. I really like him as much as I like Rika. And....I used to be angry about Mamoru a lot. But When he figured out to be Rika's bodyguard....Wow..........I couldn't hate anyone. Really, It's awesome. Cuz When I can't hate characters in the story, it means I get myself absorbed in the story very closely. I like it. I really really like it.

I'm not English speaker, so my sentences could be ungrammartical a lot even if I major in English. Yeah, I love English and I love Ms. Ranphear's sentences a lot. The story is complicated but the sentences, these are smooth and delicate so I can understand these easy. I know writing like this is very difficult job, understanding non-english speaker easily, and this story is long! I read it whole only two days!! Well, anyway. Bear my awful writings. English grammar is so hard to me since I have totally different grammar system in Korean. And I'm looking forward to seeing next book!! You are such a great author!!

wow! major wow! you are right book 3 is transitional.the way you have developed and molded your plot, your characters, makes this 3rd installment the most pivotal of all the books to date... the way you have woven the details together, tied up missing pieces of the puzzle in a way that is not overwhelming and confusing, and clearly conveying the feelings in each scene as if I (the one reading) was actually there with the characters... KUDOS!
the bigger part of the picture is here... you have just taken us in a roller coaster of emotions and scenes that just simply made me hitch up my breathing, hold my breath, and expel a long held one.
and i want more of it! I know that levi is not just simply the fbi agent who happened to be assigned rita's case... his background just makes me think that he's more involved in the whole affair, and not just because of rika... his blue eyes just made me think of other connections possibilities :)
i honestly can't wait for book 4. I know you are still in the midst of finishing or revising it, but i am hoping that you'll get it out sooner or later.
And I love how you developed eri's and hisoka's relationship. i am not sure how i would feel if they will be involved, but i do like the bond that they have formed for now. you just made eri look like a dashing prince in my eyes.
though i almost cried when you burned perseus to death. how could you???
but all in all, i am as i always was, from the first time you posted this story in FF, a very very big fan of yours.
will be eagerly awaiting book 4

I'm only half way through, and I love it, but I've never been one to really care for all the tender-loving stuff haha but I do love the idea of the book and I'm glad there is going to be a fourth installment.

You should know that I had been making a mental check list of things to mention and praise you for however.... You killed the dog... How could you... Everything listed for an indebth review retreated from my mind at that scene and refused to return.
I do like Levi he is In my opinion arguably the best man to be introduced since Alister back in the football game on webcam in the first book. His background in the navy and the circumstances of his own conception really made his cold attitude more agreeable. It's rather comical the way he is seemingly embarrassed easily despite his cold appearance.
The entire last 150+ pages where all the action started was incredibly gripping enough so that I refused to stop reading it at 8am after being ip all night.
Hisoka adapted remarkable well to all the danger especially compared to the other "normal" teens and I could of swore there was some form of attachment between eri and her but that could have just been the sleep deprivation.
The last thing I can think of was the very touching scene of hiromasa on his death bed. Even after all the coldness he showed rika that he made that last attempt to give her information that would keep her safe and tell her his true feelings was a very touching scene. I do however wish she just killed the rest of the family -.-

I loved it and I can't wait for the next installment! However, I was disappointed with the many grammatical and spelling errors, which were nonexistent in the first two.
Fantastic story though!
