This is a fun little allegory. I enjoyed the use of big words in this story because it matched the pompous nature of the two main characters. While giving us a sense of the world his characters inhabit, the author avoided long explanations of the terrible things occurring in his sci-fi version of earth, which is always a plus in this genre.
