I was intrigued by the cover and description, but the story turned out way too fast-paced for my liking.

The language is very concise and easy to read, but I found it too concise. In all, the story is skeletal. It lacks layers and depth, and so do the characters.

However, the book delivers when it comes to action and adventure, so if you like really fast-paced books with only the tiniest hint of romance and intimacy, you'll enjoy this one.
