Free & under $2.00 bks should be judged less strict then more expensive bks.. but just because you enjoyed a book doesn't mean it should rate as high or higher then better written bks . Voyage is a good example we should thank & encourage authors to develope their skills ,but please you do a disservice to over rate them. The plot is a much different from the average apocalyptic storys,a fine idea. The story is from beginning to end full of lifes cliches everyone is very good or very bad . Characters really never become real people . Change peoples mind or belief, simple just say a few words & oh yes never thought of that & change there life view ,really lets get these people into Secretary of state position .
A good editor and a more open mind set would make a much better story .Writing a novel of any kind is difficult I certainly encourage and thank Mr Sholar for his work & plot .

This was a riveting story! It is a must-read for anyone who likes zombie or apocalyptic genres. Once I started reading, it was hard to stop. The realism of the combat and knowledge of the weapons and tactics sounds like first-hand knowledge of the subjects. The characters, situations, and 'new world' are robust in detail and realism!

Excellent story. Very well written. The story keeps you waiting for what the survivors will face next.
Was very surprised at how true to life, peaples reactions to this type of apocalypse, were and how they reacted. This is yet another example of how terrible situations can, both, bring out the best in some peaple and the worst in others.
Deffinately will be waiting for the next book in the series.
