About J M Zambrano

I'm proud to be an indie author with an attitude. Kudos to J.A.Konrath for pointing the way and sharing his treasure trove of experience with us newbies.
Born in Los Angeles, CA, I've worn a multitude of hats: author, screenwriter, single parent, deputy sheriff, CPA, forensic accountant, Arabian horse breeder, caregiver for my mom in her final years. And now in Colorado, I'm once again giving authorship my best shot.

“Where was the sun? That pale piece of cold light must've dropped into the lake and drowned. Why did Mother let him take me? Her other self, the wise-beyond-her-years one, already knew the answer. He took what he wanted.” –The Trophy Hunter

The prologue hooked me, but it was Zambrano’s clean yet visual writing style that carried me through to the end. A most enjoyable and well-crafted thriller that kept me flipping the pages into the wee small hours.

I look forward to reading more of Zambrano’s work.

Full of suspense and full of danger, J. M. Zambrano’s book The Trophy Hunter will take the readers to a place they have never been. As the characters are tested in every way, the story unfolds smoothly but building tension at the same time, until it’s almost too much to handle. The ending is just as surprising as it is gratifying.

I highly recommend this book to all aficionados of thriller and suspense.
