An excellent yarn! It kept me reading till I had finished it. But then what would you expect from an avid SF bookworm! It is a gentle, but compelling tale, if you are looking for blood 'n' guts everywhere this is NOT for you. but if following the fortunes of growing kids and the adventures life throws at them is your kind of tale, then this is just up your street. There are enough twists and turns to keep you reading to find out what is going to happen next. If you ever wondered what it is like to see in the dark, read this book and it should give you a good idea.
