About Evan Smyth

Evan Smyth was born July 17, 1990, and raised in Kalamazoo Michigan. After moving to Arizona in the year 2005, what began as a passing interest in writing stories began to blossom into a genuine love of writing.

While in High School, he wrote several articles and acted as assistant-Editor-In-Chief during his Junior year, evenutally taking over as Editor-In-Chief during his senior year. He graduated with a 4.0 GPA and scholarships to the University of Arizona and Arizona State University. Electing to attend the Art Institute of Phoenix, Evan pursued a degree in Marketing with a minor in Graphic Design.

During his time in college he took several advanced creative writing classes and was praised for depth of writing by multiple professors.

Evan's passion for writing began when he was seven years and, at the age of seventeen, he finished The Midas Project, his first full-length novel. He has completed nine books to date, five of which are currently available for sale on in print and online.

Writing has been an avenue of expression for Evan over the years that few other joys have afforded him. He aspires one day to share his work on an even larger scale. In upcoming works, he delves into his thoughts on prejudice, perception, and social responsibility.
