About AJ Duran

Born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, AJ Duran grew up in a French family, and hailed from a quaint remnant of Quebec lakefront countryside, which has since given way to the voracious suburban appetite for urban development.

She discovered her passion for reading at an early age, almost embodying the popular caricature of a bookworm. This passion fed her youthful imagination, leading to a number of earlier attempts to lay down her thoughts in a structured format, culminating in the AJ Duran Fiction series.

Paradoxically, she now lives in a Montreal suburb with Claudia, her life-partner of 13 years, a cat named Mitsou, and a mutt who goes by the name of Stormy. From her home office, she spins her yarns in a tapestry of fiction novellas under the banner of AJ Duran Fiction.

Review by: Michel A. Di Iorio on Oct. 20, 2012 :
Through the pages of her first novella, AJ Duran takes us along as Jessica discovers an intimate duality in the least likely of places, finding love she never expected to experience, until a jealous cop sends her lover to the edge of oblivion in an uncontrolled fit of rage and vengeance.

A Woman's Love... it might even be about you!
