About the Author:

Brad Patterson was born in Brisbane in the sixties and grew up on the Gold Coast before moving to Central Queensland where he spent about 20 years. He enjoys camping, archery and motorcycles and is passionate about the creatures of the past – especially Australia’s megafauna. He now works full-time lecturing on law enforcement, legislation, polices and procedures. This is his first book.

A captivating narrative that masterfully weaves historic facts, with bush crafts,mega-fauna sprinkled with an insightful profiling of interpersonal relationships and problem solving within the group teenagers. Each chapter brings a new challenge to solve. A captivating fast moving story line unfolds that is suitable for teenagers, parents who have an active home reading engagement with younger children or for any school library. A sequel would be great! A quality book! Thank you.

Great read! This book could be used by teachers as an ongoing comprehension exercise. The characters are all well established and believable. When is the next one coming Brad? a great opportunity for parents to read to their children, Dads especially. Dads, take the time to read to your children, you will get a big reward.

Just started reading this book to my son and already it's proving to be a very wise investment... The characters are genuine and well formed and the author has obvious expertise in prehistoric mainland Australia... A great read so far and an engaging journey for my son and I to undertake together... Very well done!
