This book, and its prequel Root, was well written and interesting. There were a few copy-editing problems which distracted from the experience--missing words, strange punctuation, etc.--but overall a worthwhile read. The story is dark, and at times depressing, but I enjoyed it a lot. I sincerely hope there will be a sequel to Frelsi, the unresolved bit needs to be told! Kudos to A. Sparrow for a job well done.
