Great book, Dorothy! As a teacher, I would recommend this book to my students. Keep writing! I'm so proud of you.

Very sweet story. The ending really captures the emotions of young children, you really felt for the characters at this point. I would have liked a little more interaction with potential "toy buyers" earlier in the story and I did not get why the "sales" shelf would be so scary. But otherwise I really liked the story. Great job!

Sooooooooooo Cute! I loved it! What a great job Dorothy did on the story. She is how old??? Such Talent. Love Brent's art work too. I am so impressed with the imagination of young authors, such as Dorothy, dreaming up an idea, following through with words and telling a story just floors me! can't wait to read the book to my granddaughter. Thanks Dorothy, and keep up the great work. P.S. Dorothy (R.A.) is who I decorated my 1st sons room in and I have my sisters original 1949 book with my treasured books for my granddaughter when she is a little older.
