Memoirs from a Third Life

Rated 5.00/5 based on 2 reviews
At times in the course of human existence there arises a curiosity. A reality which defies a rational explanation. A bend in the ‘norm’. Some may look at this as an aberrant mutation, too unique to be taken seriously.

Prepare to enter a gentle twilight zone between the gender norms, a very strange tale indeed.

I have to agree with other reviewer, the first 3 chapters were more like a biography or something, ok, but gave no inkling of how this story progresses and wasn't what I was expecting. But Wow, this is a great story! It made me laugh and cry and challenged me on lots of different levels and kept me reading and wanting more. Yes it touched my heart too and by the end, I kind of understood why the author wrote the first three, like it challenged my naivety and held all the links to the amazing outcome! A long and worthwhile read. Thanks! Very moving and yet very erotic too. I don't know if its true, but it should be!

So where to start.? I have rarely read anything so moving as this. The first few chapters are are a little bit of misdirection.. by the time I was through with sample portion I was thinking this was maybe not what I had originally anticipated and by the time I got to the middle portion after having went back to purchase the whole book, rereading the first few chapters and burning through the rest in a long laughter filled and tear soaked afternoon. Felt I had try to give something back for the amazing work. (As a fraction of 2 hundred and ninety nine pennies seemed like a paltry reward for the way the authors story touched my mind, heart, spirit and yes my physical being as well.)
