This sure was different from the author's other book. I can't say I liked all the violence, but it was well written. I couldn't stop reading it. I suppose that's what any author desires.
Dark, brutal characters in an even darker story line is what you get with this book. It pretty much covered all the bases when it comes to sinning, whether it be Vegas, or anywhere for that matter.

I really liked this book. The action is as real as gritty as it gets.

No nursery rhyme bed time story here. Dark, violent, disgusting in many ways, but well written. Bad people galore in this compelling tale. Like some of the other reviewers said, be ready for graphic violence and some pretty foul characters. But as I said, the author sure knows how to keep you interested in a storyline, even if you are saying, "uck" half the time.

That was an intense read. I found myself a little disgusted by some of the things in this book, but I have to admit that I couldn't put it down. It's violent and vile, but it certainly keeps the readers interest. Having said that, it's clear the author knows how to keep the reader's interest. If you're into graphic violence, strong language, sexual abuse and despicable characters, then this book is for you.

Wow. Good job describing some rather disgusting characters. The story was well written, however. I enjoyed reading about the other Vegas, the one not limited to the Strip and tourist areas.

Over all a good read. But, it is not for the easily offended. This book is clearly intended for an adult audience.

The author has done a great job of telling a very dark and violent story. The bad characters are as evil and nasty as any I've ever read about. It's a good read
