Noel Bodenmiller has many and varied life experiences to assist him in writing Vague Remembrances, Authentic Treasures and the trilogy: A Diary of Treasures which includes: Captain Stevenson’s Secret, Return To Stevenson’s Isle, and Stevenson’s Reward. His work experiences include: factory laborer, bartender, community college custodian, marina assistant, barn painter, horse trainer, church organist, teacher, school guidance counselor, and hypnologist. His travel experiences include: Paris and St. Raphael, France, Ventimiglia, Italy, Moscow and St. Petersburg, Russia and the American south and west on numerous occasions. Mr. Bodenmiller is a retired teacher and guidance counselor of high school and junior high school levels in the Michigan public school system. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Olivet College, with concentrated studies in History and English. He earned a Masters Degree in counseling from Eastern Michigan University. He also holds a Professional Counselor License with the State of Michigan.
Mr. Bodenmiller has studied and completed advanced programs in hypnotherapy and is a registered hypnotherapist.
In addition to novels, Mr. Bodenmiller has written a collection of poems entitled Looking For You. A number of the poems from this journal worked very well as song lyrics and were incorporated into 17 piano ballads now reproduced and available as a music book arranged for piano and guitar entitled Sounds Of My Heart. These songs also contain the central theme in a Musical also known as Sounds Of My Heart. His latest work Violet’s Song, is in the process of music notation.
Mr. Bodenmiller is planning to write additional books
and songs and is always content with exploring new
creative and geographical horizons.
