About David Gurz

Born 1972. Spent early childhood in Pennsylvania, then various Western states before staying in the Northwest for thirteen years. Moved back to Pennsylvania at the age of twenty and began trying to write a couple of years later. This continued through a later eight year prison sentence for robbery and led to his self published 'zine issued during that time.
After release from the stone hotel in 2006, Dave married his long time love, bought his first computer, and has continued to write after separating from that crazy broad in 2013.
He is currently working on his third book.

Review by: John Carnell on Oct. 18, 2012 :
Dave Gurz writing is like a steadily beating drum, calling out to all those who are fed up with lightweight lit that doesn't deliver. Subterranean Emerald City Blues, although short, punches well above its weight. A true story and poignant snapshot of life on the street, this book will move you and leave you wanting more.
