I Dream Analyze Genie

Rated 4.33/5 based on 4 reviews
The story of the genie in the magic lamp is an old one, told many times. And, more often than not, things do not end well for the poor unfortunate who stumbles across the lamp. A great story with twists and turns and is brought to life with story telling that makes it a fantastic read. Would definitely recommend to others.

This was a surprisingly good read. "I Dream Analyze Genie" is the story of a nebbish man named Jason that relates an incredible story to his disbelieving psychiatrist. He's a very meek fellow that gets used by practically everyone around him... till one day he is given a magic lamp by his mooching neighbor that has borrowed half his stuff and never returned it. Of course, as in most stories involving genies, none of his wishes turn out right. There are some pretty clever twists that keeps the story from being predictable, with a darkly comic ending. The dialogue is sharp and witty. Good stuff.
