About Charles Alan Long

Charles Alan Long works full-time at a university and spends much of his free time writing novels, short stories, and poems. He’s published more than a dozen tales—from spy thrillers to superhero adventures—in a variety of anthologies.

His first novel, The God Killer, marries his love of detective stories and mythology, and gave him the opportunity to create a gay detective. He has written three novels in the Sheffield and Black detective series.
