About Tucker Elliot

Tucker Elliot is a Georgia native and a diehard baseball fan. A former high school athletic director, varsity baseball coach, and college professor, he is now a fulltime author residing in Tampa, FL.

Tucker's newest sports book, Atlanta Braves: An Interactive Guide to the World of Sports, was released in April 2012. Dale Murphy, one of Tucker's boyhood heroes, wrote the foreword to the book.

His first Kindle Single was also released in April 2012. The Kindle Single "You Look Like A Teacher" includes Tucker's award-winning essay titled The Memory of Hope.

Tucker is also the author of several books in the Black Mesa sports history / trivia series subtitled The Ultimate Test of True Fandom, including: Atlanta Braves IQ, New York Yankees IQ, Major League Baseball IQ, Cincinnati Reds IQ, and Tampa Bay Rays IQ (with MLB pitcher Andy Sonnanstine).

In total he has authored or contributed to more than two-dozen baseball books.

In addition to his books, Tucker is a cowriter for the screenplays "Shedding Baggage" and "The Home Stretch."

His current project (and most important to date) is working with former professional baseball player Tony Stevens on his memoir. Stevens gave up a baseball career to join the Marines after 9/11. A Kindle Single telling part of Stevens' story is on its way, with the full book expected later this year.
