Lara Daniels! Wow! Lady, everytime I read one of your books, mind = BLOWN! lol but what I love about this book is how she is able to create such a great plot in so little pages, she knows how to combine all the political stuff and the romance thus develop the story. I like the characters, Eddy is unapologetically dominant and Nafisah is bold and strong, I love how she's able to put the two together without making Nafisah submissive coz let's be honest, African men - even the modern African men - want submissive women. LD, you need to write more books, I've currently finished all those u've written, even the short stories, yeah I'm hooked :)

Lara Daniel takes a bold, daring and unique step in 'The Officer's Bride'. Highly recommended. Love where she least expected. Her Protector turned out to be her lover. My favourite line: 'You have started a fire that you and I will never be able to put out.' and did Eddy and Nafisah start a fire??? Yeah they did! Nuff respect Ma'am. Totally love it. Awesome work.
