About DC Alden

DC Alden is a UK-based thriller writer, filmmaker and screenwriter. Born in London, DC’s career has encompassed a variety of roles, from soldier to technical consultant, including work on many popular films and TV shows.

As well as writing, DC has always loved the movies. Answering a call for former soldiers, he worked for eight months on HBO’s BAND OF BROTHERS, alongside industry heavyweights such as Stephen Spielberg, Tom Hanks, Damien Lewis, Michael Fassbender and Tom Hardy. The experience reignited his lifelong passion for film and screenwriting, and a few months later he was enrolled at a London film school, making several short films and a documentary about life on set using previously unseen footage (visit YouTube: BAND OF BROTHERS – AN EXTRA’S LIFE). DC has also written, produced and directed live action trailers for his thriller novels THE ANGOLA DECEPTION and FORTRESS.

Dealing with highly topical and sometimes sensitive issues, DC’s writing is thought-provoking and always commands attention. His work continues to be inspired by world events, both seen and unseen, and the ‘dark actors’ who inhabit the shadows. His work encompasses a hugely entertaining mix of mystery, conspiracy, action/adventure, political and military/war genres.

Review by: John Fasick on Jan. 04, 2017 :
I am a big fan of Tom Clancy, Steve Berry, clive Cussler, Dale Brown type stories. This one is right up there. Moves along pretty well and a believable plot line in today's radical Islam thinking.
