About Tracey Jane Jackson

I was born and raised in New Zealand, and that’s where my love of horses was born. My grandfather taught me to ride at four years old, and I couldn’t get enough.

My love and passion for Abraham Lincoln and the entire Civil War era might have come from my American father, however, he lays no claim to influencing me. My mother used to tell me I was simply born in the wrong place in the wrong time.

I haven’t always wanted to write. It took me a long time to get started, but now I don’t seem to be able to stop, the joy of escaping to the 1860s is too much fun.

I’ve been happily married and gooey in love with my husband for eighteen years. We live in the Pacific Northwest with our two sons.

I loved this book, it was so easy to read and understand. I loved the mysterious plot line and the twists in the storyline.
It was also a very clean read, maybe a little clean in my opinion. It would have benefited from some steamy moments, it felt a little clinical instead of hot and steamy.
It was a great read there were no spelling or grammar issues which made it really easy to read.
I loved Kade and Sam, actually all of the characters had an incredible amount of depth.

I love the little twists and turns throughout the book! Kept me guessing the whole time! I love the fact that Sam's favorite team is the SF 49ers! Bought the 2nd book in the series! Keep up the great work Tracey! :)

Absolutely a great read. Found no hangups to detract from the easy flow of this book. Could not stop reading til it was finished. The only thing that would have made this an even better story is (in my opinion ) a little more spice. I would have liked to read some steamy scenes. I know that is not everyone's taste but that's what I like. I loved it! Highly recommended. Probably one of my favorites!

Samantha Moore has graduated at the top of her class and is a specialist in the field of blood. She has gotten the offer of her life to take a job with a prestigious firm in Scotland. This southern belle is going to get way more than a new career! Her world is about to become so very strange, different and exciting with unbelievable changes in this paranormal romance. I told Tracey Jane Jackson that I don't do ghosts, vampires, werewolves when she said she was changing her writing tract from her civil war time travel series to the paranormal. I wasn't sure when she asked me to read her new book if I was going to like it. I have to tell you this one was a great ride and I enjoyed her book immensely from the first few pages to the very last. This sceptic was won over with this book. I can't wait for the next to come out in the series! I guess there is more to the paranormal genre than I knew at least when it comes to this author. I've been won over the other side. ~ : )
