A much-needed addition to the personal-development literature. Advice is for Winners teaches you how to transform your life, realize your dreams, and save yourself from painful missteps by seeking advice from others. This is a practical guide to using advice, no matter what your walk or stage of life.

So many of us have learned and lived the gospel of self-reliance that leads to bad decisions and misdirected efforts, but embracing the practice of seeking advice opens up whole new world of opportunity and effectiveness. Whatever decision you're facing - choosing your major or university, finding the right job, changing careers, deciding where to live, considering retirement, the list goes on - you WILL make a better choice if you seek the advice of the right people. Valdes-Perez teaches every step of finding advice, from finding the right advisors, to getting the meeting, to evaluating how to integrate the advice into your life.

No matter what is going on in your life, read this book and start experiencing the power of advice, now! My only regret about this book is that I didn't find it earlier.

If you are a new high-school or college graduate trying to decide on your future, PLEASE don't make the decision until you read this book.
