On The Run...From God
What would you do if your back was up against the wall with all odds against you and your Christianity? Do you resort to sinful sin or do you run to God? More
Meet two sisters, Arlethia and Sherie. Arlethia is 5’4” dark skinned beauty that’s a Christian to the 3rd power and loves the Lord! She wasn’t always a Christian, though. She used to be known as one of the biggest boosters in the Virginia and DC area taking orders from as far away as New York to Miami and could steal you a $20,000 chinchilla fur coat and not get busted! But like they say, “Once a thief always a thief!”
Her game has always been on point until she found the Lord behind bars and has since changed her life for the better or so she thinks. She’s the spunky one of the two who speaks her mind by saying what she means and means what she says.
Arlethia is married with four girls and two twin boys. Not to mention two of the four girls are dealing with puberty and boys at the same time. Her husband, Alonzo is in between work but gets thrust into the drug criminal enterprise when he’s pushed into a corner to either feed his family or die trying. Now Arlethia is left to fend for her family without a job! Does she resort to her old criminal ways of sinful sin or does she make it through her trials and tribulations by turning over all her problems to God?
Sherie stood about 5”2” with a thick build and light complexioned skin after her mother with mesmerizing hazel green eyes. She’s married with one child teenage son, Shakim. She has always been known as the brain of the family. She not only holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Norfolk State University, she holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Streetology. Sherie has always been the one in the family that everyone looked up to but she had one flaw…M O N E Y!
Sherie’s been told for years that she has favor from God but never knew what it meant until she caught 12 felonies ranging from credit card fraud to identity theft to money
laundering and obtaining money by false pretenses to being on the run from the law!
All hell breaks loose when she finds out that her sixteen-year-old son was murdered four states away and ruled by police as accidental thus not charging anyone. Now she’s left with the ultimate decision to turn herself in or handle the funeral arrangements of her first born son. Sherie knows that once she returns to Virginia, it was going to be fatal! Does she run to God or keep running from Him and doing things her way?
