About Celia

I have been writing for years, every time I have a moment; up to now publishing children's books as Lia Ginno. I am a retired child development lecturer and live in Lincoln, England with my husband, near my two daughters and five grand children. However before I wrote for kids I had a mountain of unfinished stories for adults fading away in note pads and in files on my laptop and as my grand children have grown older and into 'games' and their gadgets instead of making up stories with me or reading I had been toying with writing or regurgitating a 'grown up' story. Like most authors people I meet trigger my stories. I belong to several woman groups. I enjoy woman's deep caring emotions, their love for their family that rule their lives, stops their dreams, and sometimes even who they are. Real people are so much more fascinating than made up characters. I have so many stories that they have inspired, half written or lined up in my head. Set my soul on fire is the first about a woman losing herself in marriage. I hope who ever reads the story, enjoys it and as much as I did writing it.
