As an IB Higher Level Chemistry student and rising Chemical Engineering undergraduate, I have found this guide incredibly useful. It has helped me to score very well on numerous topic exams through the concise, easy to follow instruction in addition to the helpful diagrams. I have also used this guide to study for my SAT Chemistry Subject Test, when I was required to learn AP material that was not covered in my IB course. This handbook gave me a strong foundation in material that was new to me, and solidified my knowledge and understanding of those topics that I had previously studied. I would strongly recommend this handbook to any and all chemistry students.

This is a wide-ranging, yet concise, handbook of basic chemistry. It represents excellent value for money when compared to equivalent volumes from "name brand" publishers. As someone who has taught IGCSE, AP and IB sciences, I appreciate that it is "programme neutral" and would help students in any high school chemistry courses. Diagrams are clear, and the sample problems are relevant and clearly explained.
