This is a great book with "well thought out" info. I decided not to go into news at this time, but I will return to this book when I decide to add a news feature to my site.

I've heard you can really amp up the hits on your website and raise your rank by using a news feature, so I will definitely be reading this book sentence by sentence (maybe word by word) in the future. And, when that happens, the money for this book will be returned to me many times over.

This is a punchy no-nonsense and complete guide to getting a web site accepted by Google News. The example techniques are specific to WordPress but the ideas and lessons are generally applicable. Anyone maintaining their own web sites using other software should be able to translate the advice.

I am in the process of developing a new multi-author web site (using Drupal). Victoria Nick's book has already guided decisions about structure so that I should not have to rework it when I am ready to apply for Google News accreditation; that alone makes it good value. It has saved me hours of extra work undoing mistakes that I would have made without it.

As to Victoria's credibility; she created and runs Decoded Science (www.decodedsience.com); a rapidly growing popular science web site accredited by Google News. It is clear Victoria Nicks knows what she is talking about and can present in an easily understand way.

I think this eBook is terrific. So easy to read, so much information, so much detail. And the appendices are most helpful. It all reads as very knowledgeable, friendly and encouraging. It should be a tremendous help to anyone who wants to know how to get their site on Google News.
