I give this book 3 stars not because its a bad book, which its not, but because I didn't particularly like it.
The concept is original; humans children start to morph into various animals at puberty, taking on some of the animals characteristics which give them "super-powers". The main characters are likeable and their actions believable. Personally, I found the writing was a bit stilted but it either got better as the book progressed or I got used to it, as I didn't notice it at the end.
