It is no secret that Tim Marquitz is one of my favorite authors. He has yet to disappoint me with any of his novels. In the short story Into the Mirror Black a disturbed man is doing his best to bring the elder gods back to earth.

The story is dark, much darker that his last couple of offerings. I would say it is not for the faint of heart. But, if you want to double check your locks before you go to bed and just to be safe check under the bed, then this might be the perfect teaser for you.

Into the Mirror Black is quite good and I really wish that this was the opening to a new series featuring the elder gods return, unfortunately it is just a one shot short that will beg you asking for more.

If you love dark horror or you want to give Tim Marquitz a shot, this is an excellent place to start.

Brutal, Hellraiser-esque horror, Marquitz delivers in this very quick read about a regular Joe who tries to please the dark gods.
