About Christine Dorsey

From the time I was a child I LOVED books. I can still remember the thrill of being old enough to walk to the library. Though a lot has changed since then, one thing remains the same…I can still walk to a library!

My dad was in the army so we moved a lot. Luckily, I returned to Maryland in time to meet the boy who lived next door to me when I was born. I had moved away when I was four months old. And though family lore has it that we were close as infants, we hadn’t seen each other for seventeen years. When Fate tossed us together, we didn’t recognize each other (understandable), but I did remember my mother mentioning his family. To make a long story short, we started dating, married after college, had three wonderful children, now adults, and are the proud grandparents of four. Whew, how’s that for a synopsis of my life?

Of course, I skimmed over a bunch of really important things. My belief in “happily ever afters” for one (my forty-four year marriage to the boy, now Grandad from Maryland has a lot to do with that). How much I adore my family for another. And of course the day I decided to not only love reading books, but began writing them!

So far I’ve written seventeen bestselling books…and I’m just getting started. I’m also being pulled into the 21st Century—I do so like to play around with my characters in centuries past. But my son-in-law convinced me to put my books on e-books, so being a good (great?) mother-in-law, I am.

When not writing I love spending time with our family, playing with our puppy, exploring the Outer Banks of NC, and of course, reading.

I also love to hear from readers. Please let me know what you think of my books. You can follow me on Facebook and Twitter.

To Happy Endings,
Christine
