About J.P. Reedman

Janet Reedman, the daughter of a Canadian soldier and an English war-bride, was born in Canada but moved to the UK 20 years ago. From an early age, she loved history, magic and words, writing her first story about Cleopatra at the age of five. At 12 she discovered epic fantasy and began to study Norse and Celtic mythology. During the 80’s she became quite well known on the small press scene and was nominated for the Pushcart prize for Excellence. She briefly stopped writing to pursue theatre and photography but returned to what she loved best several years ago. Being fascinated with not only myth and legend but anthropology and archaeology, and living amidst the ancient monuments of Wiltshire, Stonehenge was the natural choice for her first novel, STONE LORD. Janet can often be found out in the field, pottering around burial mounds and standing stones with camera in hand, or helping out with the latest local archaeological digs.
