I don't only love this book because my father wrote it and I can recognize characters from our lives in it, I also love it because the imagery is beautiful and the dialect of the south is well-represented in the conversations between characters.

It is an uplifting story that warms the heart at Christmas and is an excellent book for teens and adults alike!
