The name immediately conjures up images of Richard Greene, Michael Praed and Russel Crowe. Or maybe that sly fox in the Disney version.

Only, in Anne R. Allen's latest rom-com mystery the fox is a coyote and there's no Robin Hood.

Great book. Couldn't put it down. An excellent choice for a free read. Great writing and editing. I'm left wondering, though, if Camilla sees Peter again. I also want to read the rest of the series. Glad I caught the free read notice at the bottom of the author's email that I subscribe to.

I had a great time reading this book, I agree with the past reviewers, everything about this book was not typical at all, it keeps you wondering and guessing all the way trying to figure out what's going on. I loved it

I really enjoyed this book! It was not your typical mystery or even your typical romance. In fact, it was not typical in any way. The mystery kept me guessing right up until the end, and the characters were a fun read. Even more, I enjoyed the venue. Smartly written and nearly impossible to put down, I found myself counting the hours until I could leave work and get back to reading! Well done!

I like this book. I REALLY like this book. It's not yer typical whodunnit, nor is the protagonist anything like a cop. Ms. Allen (or Ms. Deforges, as the case may be) has crafted a wily tale of murder, deceipt, and intrigue that can stand with the best of them. Her characters are all too real and her dialogue took me from laughter to chills to suspicion of everybody in the book. Good on her!

Editorially, the book is also refreshingly well-done and all but devoid of grammatical or other such gaffes. This was obviously written by an intelligent woman who is also a fine story-teller. My congratulations to her.

My suggestion? Read this book. It will be well worth the time.
