The Million Dollar Gift begins when Chase has been beaten and most likely going to end up dead, but when he hears a woman's scream he has to help even though he knows he should walk away. After Chase saves the young woman and an even young boy, the woman invites him back to her house to rest. While Chase has a lot of issues, he seems to becoming to love under the care of this loving, warm family he's stumbled upon.

This was a very beautiful, heart warming story about a young man who finds love, and family again on Christmas. I really enjoyed this short story. It truly inspires the meaning of Christmas in my eyes. It was utterly beautiful, and I highly recommend it. The plot is very interesting, and the characters catch your heart and lead on this very sad and happy story.
