Reena Jacobs is just your typical writer who loves to see her words in print. As an avid reader, she’s known to hoard books and begs her husband regularly for “just one more purchase.” Her home life is filled with days chasing her preschooler and nights harassing her husband. Between it all, she squeezes in time for writing and growling at the dog.

First off let me say i am not a fan of short stories, but this one was very well written. The steamy, erotic scenes were very on point. I will be defiantly be reading Regina's story, because there are always to side to every story.........Right?

Regina's at it again, trying to control her husband using sex as a weapon. This time, Brandon takes the initiative and teaches her a lesson.
Regina and Brandon have two different approaches to sex, and it is causing problems in their marriage. Regina wants to use sex as a reward or punishment, and she wants rough sex. Brandon wants sex to be making love between a husband and wife, and he likes it slow and tender. Reading about how these two torment each other is frustrating, I just want to reach into the book and slap them both. Brandon finally figures out how to get to Regina, and this is the story from his point of view.

Regina plays the sex card with Brandon, withholding any and all until he surrenders to her desires. She wants something more than vanilla sex in the bedroom. Whereas, Brandon doesn’t know if he can perform up to her expectations, nor does know if he wants to. Finally, after several days of enduring Regina’s relentless prick-teasing, Brandon takes the upper hand.
Yes, this is a short story all right, 10 pages. This is written from Brandon’s POV, which I enjoyed very much. I liked the banter between Regina and Brandon: She would push his buttons; he would squirm.
As a note, this is not a romance, but an erotic short story. As the couple is married, it does have an HEA. However, when I see the words “bondage” and “masochism” in a book blurb that is what I am expecting. What I read was more of a “slap and tickle”. In spite of this, I expect to see more of Ms. Jacobs writing in the future.

Wow! I so didn't expect the great unfolding of this short erotica. Regina is a sexual and dominate personality who wants to spicy up her love life...her way. Brandon just wants the tender sex that he's always enjoyed with his wife, but Regina isn't selling for less than what she wants and so starts a campagin to get it.
This was a great short short from Brandon's point of view and I'm looking forward to reading Regina's story.

An erotic story with character background and development, and a plotline achieved in only 12 pages. Written from a male pov, this tale tells of him giving into his wife's sexual needs in order to relieve his own frustration that mount after days of denial from her. It all builds up to the grand finale intimate scene which is believable and a definite box-ticker. Would recommend.

This was a very well written story. Dialogue and character development was spot on. An absolutely sinfully delicious read, with a splash of humor. Bravo!
Can't wait to read Regina's story!

Quick, to the point, and a fun read. This story was in Brandon's point of view. He is like any other guy, will take sex when he can, however Regina his wife loves it and always wants it. She has a demand from Brandon and has decided to with hold sex until he does this for her. Its a story where we see how long until Brandon gives into her wants that he isn't quite sure he is into. As I stated above, this book is about a 10-15 minute read. Its very short. I look forward to the second book in this series, Regina's story. Mainly because there was one demand in this book at the beginning that didn't get touched on again (she requests for him to read the book she wrote but it never gets touched on again), so I am curious on her thoughts of this in her story. I would also like to just get into her head a little more, she was a very unique character in Brandon's story.

As an erotic romance writer, I found this very well-written and entertaining. Going in, I knew it would be since I've had the fortune to sample Reena's work before. She's amazing with description, pulls the reader right in with vivid, colorful pictures.
I fell in love with Brandon right away. He doesn't quite get why his wife wants to be manhandled, roughed up during sex, when all he wants is to give her some sweet loving. I couldn't help giggling a time or two as Regina teased and tormented him. Poor Brandon, we don't see much like him. Men who just want to make sweet love to their women.
I loved that there wasn't much crammed in as far as backstory. Reena gave us all we needed to get into Brandon's head, and his character is very well defined. As a short story that's all we should want. The sex was detailed--like I prefer it--and very hot. Again, like I like it. I didn't miss being in Reegina's POV, because it's all about Brandon. His reluctance and eventual surrender to dominate.

I have to say, I'm not really a fan of erotica but I decided to give this one a go since Reena and I talk a lot on Twitter.
I was surprised how enjoyable it was for such a short story.
Brandon was a well developed character considering the it was only 12 pages long.
I also enjoyed the humor. Regina is demanding that Brandon take control in the sex department and be more domineering - totally missing the irony in that.
We don't get a lot of Regina's POV and she seemed a little mean to me but then again it's Brandon's side of the story and it's just a snapshot of their lives so it wasn't a problem for me.
As for the erotica - I can't judge that since I don't read much but it seemed fairly steamy to me.
But again - I was struck by the quality of writing. A lot of short stories have too much crammed into a small space or not enough to pull me in but this had a nice pace to it and ended nicely.
