A sailing voyage of discovery in Massachusetts. More
One wintry, moonlit evening, late at night, he remembers the time he met his wife. He went for a sail, to take time off from work, down the coast of Massachusetts and across to Provincetown at the tip of Cape Cod. Once there, he met his wife. He asked her to accompany him on a sailing trip with her two kids. They fell in love then and began the adventure he knows will carry them through whatever is happening with her and her new friend. He is thinking about that and watching the snowfall late at night. During that vacation he knew, just as he now knows, the love and relationship with his wife will grow and get past whatever insecurities he might have with her reassurances. Maybe they are platonic friends, with sexual tension, and the friend can accept that.
