About GM Weger

G.M. Weger lives near East Garrison in the town of Salinas, California. She works as an editor/writer for the Department of Defense on former Army base Fort Ord. The inspiration for "East Garrison" came in part from her background around military antiques. Soon after she began working at Fort Ord, she found herself exploring the closed fort on her lunch hour, and felt haunted by spirits of all the soldiers who passed through on their way to four different wars. And then she wrote the award-winning book.

A strange short story. I found no back story to the weirdness which caused me to continuously question what it was about. Comedy...? Didn't raise a chuckle for me sorry and the author's style was hard to follow.

I love the office slug Weger describes and the crazy work environment. It's surreal. Still lovin' this author's work. Don't miss this story. You have nothing to lose but a few minutes of time and so much to gain.

Wow! This is not like any Dicken's tale that I ever read, but it blew my mind! Love it! G.M. Weger sure can write. I'm planning on checking out all her stuff now. I feel like I discovered a new talent. :-)
