About J T Chapman

Books have always fascinated me. I can vaguely remember my older brother coming home from school and showing off his new books. Word recognition came easily and by the time I started school a year later I could read most of the books they set in front of me.

Life has a way of throwing you off balance. It did for me when at nineteen I became a mother for the first time. Plans for the future were put on hold, fading into dreams and later to what could have beens. I've no regrets.

My passion for writing came late in life. With my family reared and ready to leave home, I needed a hobby. It was a natural migration for this avid reader to pick up the pen, or laptop as the case may be, and begin writing. The result surprised me.

I guess I've always been a story teller, making up tales of epic battles with spiders and other nasty creepy-crawlies from an early age.

Callie is my first completed work of fiction, my baby isn't perfect; she's a vampire witch, an Enchantress and the result of an over active imagination. Everybody loves her, especially me.

I've been reading 'Callie' since J T Chapman was serializing the draft on Wattpad. This book is a feast for all the Vampire lovers out there. I was fascinated by J T Chapman's writing and I can't wait to read the other books.

I recommend this book to all the Vampire lovers!

I read this series a while ago, in its early stages. It was compellingly addictive. As the excerpt says - some readers may find the opening chapters disturbing - but these scenes are necessary for the story, and they give you greater insight into the characters and their strengths as they grow. You also have that amazing 'ha' moment when the story comes full circle in regards to the opening chapters. It is a new twist in the genre, and one I really enjoyed. I was fascinated by Callie. There are lots of twists and turns I didn't see coming. I can't wait to read this series again and see what the author has done with it since the early draft.

A compelling read and a very different take on the world of the supernatural. J T Chapman has steered well clear of the stereotypes which have become so popular of late which makes for a very refreshing read.

Full of surprises.

From a disturbing beginning to a well-spun story that captured me from the start, Ms Chapman's tale of Callie certainly captivates.

Callie herself is easy to relate to, but she's upstaged by Sidney on occasion, as supporting character Sidney injects refreshingly funny repartee into some of the more serious scenes.

Lucien, the energetic demon, will forever keep me wondering - Ms Chapman describes him so vividly that I could almost see him in my mind's eye. A disturbing demon indeed.

My biggest issue was that there were a couple of scenes that made me blush - I don't recommend reading these in the lunch room at work unless you want people to think you're reading Fifty Shades.

Overall, well worth a read - Callie is one of those characters you can't help but love.

I loved it! I recommend this book (and the whole series since I couldn't stop reading it, now I'm waiting for the third book to be finished)... if you're into the whole supernatural and a little bit of romanticism then this is your kind of thing!

I loved it! I'm waiting on the third book since I couldn't stop reading the series, I had to continue and I read the second one as well as what's out of the third. I highly recommend it if you're into the supernatural and sort of romantic stuff.
