I enjoyed this memoir of a young sailor joining the Navy and heading off to adulthood and journeys aboard ships at sea.

Having served in the US Navy I greatly enjoyed this story. It brought back many vivid memories. There were many fun times and also many serious times as well. I wish to thank the author for taking the time to capture the great experiences he had while serving aboard ship.
