About Fortunata

I began reading adult stories on the internet in the 90s. I began writing adult stories back in 1995, because I thought, “Hey, I can do better than that.’ That’s not to say there aren’t many good amateur writers out there. I was just frustrated by tales that had a good idea behind them, but were poorly constructed and confused the reader by a lack of continuity
I like stories, not just scenes of a sexual nature. The why and wherefore of the character’s thinking makes the book more, interesting and enjoyable, when the characters finally get down to action. It seems to provide a more believable plot line that way. I prefer a tale with a beginning, a middle and an end. Unlike real life, they aren’t open ended and too full of complications. However, some difficulty for the protagonist adds to the tale.
Feedback, when I get it, is taken seriously; but not so much so that I become disheartened by criticism or overly elated by praise. At my age, I’ve learned to keep my ego in check, although I do have one; so I appreciate the compliments I do receive. I am far from a linguistic pro, so when someone points out my grammatical errors, I really am thankful and try not to repeat the mistake.
When a reader requests a return reply from me, I always respond. It may get a bit long winded, but I answer all E-mail. I don’t do secondary follow ups, unless I receive another message requiring more of an answer to a specific query. I don’t want my readers to think that I’m going to chase them around the internet. So, in order to avoid being rude, I generally leave them alone after one response.
I have so many stories to write. I know I’ll never live long enough to write them all. So, I don’t need new story ideas, although I appreciate readers who suggest specific details about a particular scene. Over the years, I’ve had some great contributions from strangers.
Thank you so much for reading my exotic tales. Please leave a review, if you have the time and don’t forget to give my book a star rating…five would be nice. To reach me, please email me at:
