I'm a reader who re-reads my favorites, usually after a few years. I have just read Ice for the third time. It's very enjoyable- you care about the characters, and they are remarkable. They're in a situation that tests them and forces them to grow, to discover more within themselves and more about one another. I've read this authors other two books also, and I'm eager to read more...

Beautiful story about love, survival and how a near tragedy can force you to come to terms with what your heart won't deny. You will be hooked from chapter one and will not be able to put it down till the last chapter. A little suspense, comedy but most importantly LOVE. A must read for everyone.

This is a great story ... it's become one of my all time favorite.
Makes you laugh and then cry the very next moment. The emotions feel very real.
When I got it I wanted to just read a little bit before going to sleep ... ended up reading all through the night, simply couldn't put it down.
Looking forward to other books.

Set against a back drop of survival, this tale involves two very strong minded characters fighting to survive their own mounting feelings for each other. There’s not much that they can do about the situation they find themselves in, but battling their own emotions could prove to be more damaging than the snow storm that has trapped them.

The author has done a fine job in setting out the two characters personalities early on, so that we can understand their reactions to situations as they arise. The pace of the story telling is compelling, drawing the reader into the story from the start, so that it’s difficult to put the book down, and you find you don’t want to. You become invested in the characters and want to see how they cope, not just with the survival aspect, but also with their inner emotions.

Descriptively, the author also hits the right note, by not dwelling on too much descriptive imagery, that can sometimes be too distracting, but keeps it to a necessary level, showing the reader, rather than telling them, of what is going on. This gives the reader the feeling they are actually watching the scenes being played out in front of them.

Ultimately, it’s a story of survival and unrequited love that finally wins the battle over both. But what will happen when they are rescued?

I leave that for you to find out.

A highly recommended read & I look forward to more from this author!

This is a tale of survival and love. It was action right from the beginning which took me through a rollercoaster of emotions. From the apparent animosity Maggie and Alex had towards each other at the beginning as they fought their mutual attraction to each other than finding they had to depend on each other till they found the tenderness of family at the end. The story unfolded like a movie with each chapter leaving me racing on to the next. The story and characters were laid out in such detail that I could almost have been there with them. The love scenes were tastefully sizzling and as a whole the book was a great read. I didn't want it to end and will certainly be looking out for more from this Author.
