Surprising and entertaining, Jesus Returns by Doug Walker is essentially a "caper" story. Having returned to the world in search of his true purpose, Jesus and a motley crew of associates, including an independent author, an Israeli prison guard, an antiquities forger, and a couple of cute girls they pick up in Paris, set off in search of an ancient Hebrew manuscript, pursued by a merciless former Israeli secret agent and a homicidal billionaire dwarf. Author Doug Walker relates the tale of a quirky, quietly eccentric Jesus with a dry, droll sense of humor. And yes, The Devil makes an appearance!
