This tale grabbed my attention from the onset and I had to stay up to finish reading it. I was about to buy the next book in the series but am wavering based on the reviews. The author is truly talented.

Open this book and enter the medieval world of young Thorngrin. The youngest of four brothers living in a small village of commoners. However, as you will soon discover, there is nothing common about him. I felt as though I was sharing his desires, his setbacks, his joy, his sorrow, his love gained and love lost as I journeyed with him on his quest through this magical world. I became a Morgan Rice fan after reading Arena One and Two. I now count her among my favorite authors and look forward to the release of the next books in both of these series.
