The middle daughter of six very loud very Italian (redundant?) siblings, I was born and raised in Philly and have never lost that loving edginess that comes from the City of Brotherly Love.
I have three brothers, three sons, and three husbands so I know a thing or two about a thing or two when it comes to guys but my devotion is to helping women find their fire and live like a force of nature.
As a litigation attorney for 16 years I boxed with the big boys but found my soul eroding, and I yearned to be free. I quit law to teach high school for a few years and then quit everything - sold my house, gave away my stuff - to become a cowgirl in Colorado. This is my story, as told in DON'T FENCE ME IN, The Adventures of a Soccer Mom Turned Cowgirl. I've also written a book of legal fiction (PRIOR BAD ACTS) and a rambling missive on life called TALES FROM THE DORK SIDE.
I became an EMT and now work in an ER which I love because it's chaotic and I get to wear pajamas. In March of 2013 I'll be ordained as a Zen Buddhist chaplain. I hope to develop my website, www.books4broads.com as a place where women in particular can find bold, bodacious reading, and friendship as well.
