Slow-Motion Forgiveness(SM) is a new, safe way to practice self-forgiveness. Self-forgiving is the practical aspect of Bruce Lipton's epigenetics.
Field-tested with clients since 2001, SMF has yielded consistently excellent results. Everyone who wants to, can learn and use this. No counseling training is required to facilitate this change method. All skill levels and for home use.
It places the lion's share of work on you, the self-healer, the client. Facilitators are still useful but no longer essential. For professionals, SMF also encourages negativity released to flow away from the practitioner and into an ecumenical spiritual Light.
As you practice Slow-Motion Forgiveness(SM), you'll gain confidence in composing your own “forgiveness formulas” and do your own forgiveness experiments If you keep track of what moves and shifts, you will gain sensitivity to how the process works for you.
The experiments here are for home use; ideally, with a Healing Buddy of your own choosing, so you can trade practice time.
SMF is built on understanding our unconscious as a living Habit Body, our “hologram of habits.” Two techniques, self-muscle-testing and self-forgiving, are very compatible with and effective for making changes in our habitual feelings, beliefs and behaviors.
Forgiveness, the forgotten super-hero of growth
If you know of a more common, effective, tool for self-healing than self-forgiveness, please tell me.
Based on 15 years of doing this with clients, few people seem to understand much about their Habit Body; and so, how Forgiveness. Learning new habits is additive. Forgiveness is subtraction. Forgiving is strongly connected with you-as-soul. Despite being overly-familiar in some ways, forgiveness remains one of the most powerful tools for growth, the forgotten superhero of personal-spiritual growing. With a little education about how unresolved issues are formed, stored and released, you can get much more "oomph" out of your forgiving.
Conventional ideas limit our understanding of self-forgiveness
OLD IDEA: Forgiveness works like affirmation
NEW IDEA: We can remember and understand forgiveness in the simplest of math terms. Affirmations are “adding.” Forgiving is “subtracting.” Both are good. In school learning addition takes precedence. In personal-spiritual growing, subtraction takes precedence.
OLD IDEA: What habits I've learned, I'm stuck with. An old dog can't learn new tricks.
NEW IDEA: We forget all issues are still only sets of habits, combinations of habits, formed and reinforced thru repetition. New habits are formed the same way, by repetition--once the old habits are deleted with Slow-Motion Forgiveness (SM).
OLD IDEA: “Feeling stuck" is real and final. When I feel like a "deer in the headlights" of an approaching car, the next thing that happens is I get run over.
NEW IDEA: Feeling “stuck" simply means you have multiple choices—and and don't yet recognize this. When we are feeling stuck, we always face two or more choices. Soul is choice. Don't leave Home without it.
