Of course, I was not the most truthful child. Therefore, when mother said, “Jared stop telling stories,” I started to write them instead.
As time went on, I found many interests. Writing, guitar, computers… I not only discovered my creative side, but also my technical one.
Up through my mid-twenties, I wrote fiction and created music. At twenty-five, I received my first full-time IT position; my free time became imprisoned by the computer world.
Now at the top of the hill—the climb proved challenging—I feel the cool air on my head as I look at the horizon. I muse over my memories—the path I traveled. Though muddied with life’s mistakes, I find something left behind, something salvageable. My creative side. Not wanting the rest of my life to whoosh by as I slide down the other side of the hill, I release my mind, free my craft, and let the stories resume. The slope down now has its own obstacles I’ll have to overcome.
As I continue my passion of writing, I hope to add to your pleasure of reading.
