First Wind book I've been disappointed with. About 70 pages, so way overpriced, IMO, and although I enjoyed reading Danoe's story, it was much too abbreviated and rushed through. I kept wondering what the hurry was! A side story was a great idea and there are probably more that are anxious to be told but only if the time is taken to tell them properly! Danoe deserved more of your time and attention, as did the characters around him who were barely cardbord cut outs. Happy to read anything from the Wind series but what a let down! Still, there was a whiff while we await the next course!
